UNN Student Anastasia Chervyakova wins a bronze medal at the 14th World University Badminton Championships

Anastasia Chervyakova, student of the UNN Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, won a bronze medal at the 14th World University Badminton Championships that took place in Ramenskoye near Moscow from September 12 to September 18. Thirteen strongest national student teams from three continents took part in the team competition. In a tense duel with the Japanese national team, the pair Anastasia Chervyakova – Olga Morozova has beaten the Japanese pair in three sets bringing the Russian team to the semi-finals. However, in the semi-finals athletes from Taipei proved to be superior, and the Russian team got the bronze.
