Yerry Mina is nearing fitness as he awaits his first start for Everton but he will have to remain patient for now. Michael Keane is fit, however, and partnered Kurt Zouma against Arsenal. Cenk Tosun may return up front after dropping to the bench against Arsenal last weekend.

Everton Key Players

Richarlison – Started the season as he started the previous campaign, with goals and a lot of excitement about his talent, and he has a point to prove after his Bournemouth red card too.

Everton vs Fulham Head-to-Head Stats

Prior to relegation in 2014, Fulham had a poor record against Everton – losing 13 of their last 19 matches and winning just one of their last 11. Both sides have undergone significant changes since Everton won 4-1 at home and 3-1 away in their most recent meetings in 2013/14, however – only Seamus Coleman and Phil Jagielka remain of the players who started the first meeting, though Maarten Stekelenburg, who was Fulham’s keeper that day, is likely to be on the Everton bench on Saturday.

EFC vs FUL FC Betting Tips

Both Everton and Fulham are looking for more consistency this season after drawing too many matches, though Fulham are in better form at the moment.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has been at the heart of that and if Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma can’t keep him under wraps the hosts will be in trouble – the Serbian striker having scored five goals so far this season.

Yerry Mina would have been an ideal player to have back to mark the Serbian, but the Colombian is not quite fully fit – not that Keane and Zouma do not possess height and power either.

Nevertheless, he is the key man and if Fulham can pick up where they left off against Watford – avoiding a first-half in which they were totally outplayed before roaring back with a dominant second 45 – they will be a threat.

Everton’s poor form is a bit of a misnomer too, however – their defeats to Arsenal and West Ham have put a negative spin on what was otherwise looking like a decent start under Marco Silva.

It is the West Ham loss in particular that have affected things, however – the Hammers having previously been winless in the league under Manuel Pellegrini.

Everton’s biggest problem have been the games they have drawn, which they might feel they should have won – and the worry will be that this Fulham game could be another like that.
Both teams have drawn a few matches already this season, so another would not be the biggest surprise.

Fulham vs Everton Recommended bets with odds

Everton’s home advantage makes them odds-on favourites against Fulham, at a best price of 10/13, but Betfair are offering 16/5 on the draw and that is tempting.

The Toffees have drawn three of six league games this season and Fulham have drawn twice too. Furthermore, a draw and BTTS improves those odds to 18/5 with Ladbrokes.

While both sides have goals in them, they could cancel each other out. Fulham drew 1-1 last time out in the league and Everton drew a blank last weekend and scored just one the weekend before. Therefore, under 2.5 goals at a best price of 11/8 with 888sport could be worthwhile.

In terms of those goals, Aleksandar Mitrovic is surprisingly generously priced at 21/10 with Betway to score at any time. Richarlison (15/8 with Bet365) and Theo Walcott (37/19 with 888sport) both have goals in them for Everton.

Everton vs Fulham Prediction

With five draws between them already this season, another stalemate could ensue at Goodison Park.

Correct score prediction: Everton 1-1 Fulham
